AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day in a New Jersey park for all dogs with dog breed Rescue information, AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, obedience and agility demonstration and dog information and more.

Rain or Sunshine - to be held outdoors.
Easy unload and access, no steps or stairs, large parking area.

AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test - Free

 

Obedience Demo.   Agility Demo.   Dog Fun.

Free admission ... Free parking ... Bring your own picnic basket food and drink,   water for your dog. Bring a crate for your dog so that your dog can have a safe "time out" while their owners eat, walk, talk and makes merry ... Leashes must be no longer then 6 feet. ... Children must be under parental control.

AGGRESSIVE people or dogs should be left at home. If your person or dog is too animal aggressive / stranger aggressive to behave well while the fun activities and eating are going on, PLEASE leave him/her at home. Bring photographs of your person / dog to share with others. And do invest the time and effort in training your dog or dog person to be nice, in the future.

Overpeck Park is on Fort Lee Road in Leonia, New Jersey.  At Exit 70 where Routes 80 and 95 merge. Five minutes drive from the George Washington bridge.
